PLYMOUTH - Belvedere

The car car was the 5,498th vehicle scheduled for production at the Evansville assembly plant in 1959. It has the 318 cid ( 5,2L ) 230 V8 engine wit the push button PowerFlite automatic transmission.  The vehicle is from the United States and was purchased by our CEO as part of his collection in 2011 in New Jersey. We have the original certificate of title from the USA and the original owners manual from 1959. The car is in a very good condition, serviced by our team in our own restoration workshop. 

The 1959 Plymouth Belvedere marked the end of an era, the cars replacing the models of 59 were radically different in their mechanical attributes and in the way they were built. The sculpted eyebrows over the duo headlamps and the “double-barreled” fenders drew attention everywhere. Taking a styling cue from the 1942 Plymouth’s race cars inspired under-bumper air scoop, the 1959 version was designed to give a “jet-intake effect” marking the beginning of the new Space Age.
