This is the Porsche Type 64 1938, an example of the high German technology of the thirties and the bold and futuristic design of the car, both  in ther mechanical and in the external form.
The Type 64, produced  in 3 specimens practically a prototype , with an aluminium bodywork, resembles a modernist sculpture by Arp or Brancusi, with the fluid profile related to the unique shapes in the continuity of Boccioni's space.

This  uniquely designed car was designed by Ferdinand Porsche (the father of the Volkswagen Beetle), as a starting point for German industry, at the request of Adolf Hitler, after his coming to power in 1934.

Tris is why the Porsche Type 64, finely restored in 1947 by Pinin Farina of Turin, is a witness of history, indeed it is a piece of history, which could reach a very high figure in auction.
