The art of motors: the wire of Autorilievi
The young artist Beatrice Maria Di Bitetto tells about her predilection for art through bold and innovative forms
A real passion was that of Beatrice who, since high school, has distinguished herself - and still does - in the creation of sculptures and bas-reliefs depicting what most characterizes her: the pole and four-wheeled motors.
Silhouetted against monochrome backgrounds, sinuous and three-dimensional lines dominate the surrounding compositional space, giving transparency and prominence thanks to the relief in copper and steel wire: a new and experimental technique that makes the young Milanese artist one of the few founders.
Beatrice wrote to a well-known gallery owner that it’s the final result that satisfies the collector, while it’s the path of realization that feeds the artist's soul.
There are no better words to describe the stages of creation of a work of art that is both alpha and omega: the beginning and the end of the creative process.
