I am delighted to offer for sale a Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16 V, type E-L31D5, engine 831D5, VIN ZLA831AB0#00530141, Monza Red, with black leather interior, aircon, in unique hard to find mint condition, a very low mileage ( 35,700 km = 22,182 miles ) rust-free car for the most discerning collector in excellent mechanical condition.
History: Production date August 2th 1990, sold by Osaka's Lancia dealer in July 1991 to one and only owner until March 2019 when the car was bought by the present owner, a Japanese Firm specialized on Italian classic cars for over 30 years. All MOTs recorded.
Present condition: Mileage 35.700 km. Rust free. Original factory paint. Accident-free. Always kept in a heated garage and used regularly at weekends, marque meetings and holidays. As for the amazing condition of the body - totally rust free - one would think used on dry days only. The car has just had a major service in order to be100% functional and to be on the safe side. New parts replaced ( invoices available ) include cam belt + tensioner, water pump, fuel pump, brake hoses front and rear, turbo intercooler silicon hose, fuel tank sender, right power window motor ) , balancing work As for all Integrale destined to Japan, the car comes with a catalytic converter, if the buyer of this vehicle wanted an original Imasaft exhaust system it can be arranged at the dealer’s workshop at extra cost. The car has a valid M.O.T. certificate ( annual inspection to insure it is road-worthy).
The paintwork has just received a professional polish to bring back to its former glory as this colour is renowned for fading over time. The paint depth gauge shows correct values for original paintwork all around. The desirable interior in black leather was an optional extra and it is conserved in very good condition, showing very little signs of wear and tear. One major bonus of the car is the air conditioning system, which is working well but will require a gas refill once at the final destination to meet local laws.
The look:. The original owner had all the black contrasting trim sprayed red to match the body work, quite a common practice at the time to make it look like the later model Evoluzione. The buyer may of course wish to restore it to its original look, also the previous owner opted to replace the steering wheel and gear knob but the original steering is available if required. It is a hard to find genuine Lancia part still in its original packaging.
The drive: the car drives really well, wheels have been aligned recently, tyres in good condition, the gearbox is perfect. According to various enthusiast this particular model is the one most rewarding in terms of driving pleasure.
Inspections are welcome by appointment only. A large number of photos and videos of the car are available on a Smugmug page.
