A 1932 MG F-type Magna 2-seater in superb Battleship grey; this is chassis F0753; reassembled with all the original pieces in the right place; all grey leather by the best upholsterer Collingburn; all new full sized centre zipped tonneau (hood frame only; no side-screens) and high-quality matching grey carpets fitted throughout. Original SU Petrolift pump fully serviced; the best & original Adamant Steering Box; the original 6 Cylinder engine totally rebuilt/reassembled by Barry Dean with balance/checked crank, new domed pistons (extra bhp), extra special cylinder-head with the water-cooling pipes as per the F3. This car was originally sent to South Africa in 1932 but being repatriated in 2008 by Barry Foster. The F2 now has period UK registration number supported and submitted to the DVLA for a period number by the MGCC in 2016. The body has been restored from 2010 to date, being completely stripped and rebuilt to F2 original factory specification including the original manual ENV gearbox which is the much sort after , fully serviced and exceptional one to have. Like originally the F2 is fitted with twin 1” SU carburetors (recently rebuilt & tuned); reconditioned Starter motor, dynamo, new radiator core and with the special F2 dashboard instrumentation set-up. Complete set of new Michelin Bebendum 18” tyres and tubes on fully refurbished out-laced rimmed spoked wheels in silver. The F2 stops on the fully refurbished 12” brakes. Fitted is a brand-new Steve Gilbert F2 petrol tank, prop-tunnel, cycle-wings, bonnet complete, engine-valances and front apron.The MG has a brand-new wiring loom fitted and wired as original. It has no modifications like diodes and or electronics, but it does have 90% LED bulbs. this MG has been rebuilt to look and drive like is should do.I have now covered well over 1000 miles since the rebuild so things are settling down and being tightened where need be; these are living cars for us to enjoy and treat now and again.The F2 is priced extremely well to sell when you consider other offerings … to date only one person has seen it too!
