The Austin-Healey 100 is one of the most recognisable British sports cars of the 1950s. With its low body, long bonnet and pure roadster character, the 100 became an icon of post-war British sports cars.

This example is an Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1 built on 31 March 1954. The official certificate from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust confirms chassis number BN1/154168, engine number 1B/207144 and body number 2642. The car was originally built with left-hand drive as a North American Export version intended for the United States. It left the factory finished in Black, with a red interior and black soft top.

This example has matching numbers and has recently undergone a professional restoration. Only 289 miles have been driven since the restoration. The car now presents in a distinctive Blue-White colour combination. The body has been professionally repainted, the soft top has been renewed, and the underbody, engine bay and engine present as new following the restoration.

The interior has also been carefully restored, and the carpets are in excellent condition. The chassis number is original and clearly legible.

Mechanically, this Austin-Healey presents particularly well. All fluids are fresh and, according to the inspection, no maintenance work is currently required. The clutch and gearbox work perfectly, and the overdrive works well. The brakes only require adjustment. The handbrake, lighting, axles and suspension are functioning correctly.
