The description

JAGUAR E-Type SI (1961-1968) 4.2

We are very pleased to offer for sale this stunning 1964 Jaguar E Type Series 1, 4.2 in primrose yellow with black leather interior, black mohair soft top and tonneau cover.

This Jaguar E type Chassis number 1E 10387, is a genuine European specification car with Heritage Certificate, being delivered to the German distributor Peter Lindner of Frankfurt and then to its first owner a Mr Venzay Amlh on the 20 January 1965. In 2006 the vehicle was then with the second owner, a Ms Arena Marcello of Italy and then transferred to her husband, Mr Fratini Marcello in 2007. We are told the car was maintained regardless of cost, this is reflected in the documents showing that the car was presented for roadworthiness test every year. The car originally being black has undergone a bare metal respray undertaken by Francesco Lotti of Scarlatti Italy. The car also boasts the professional installation of power steering we believe by Jaguar specialists Vicarage Carriage Co. at a cost of £10,000 making this E type a delight to drive especially at parking speeds. During the respray period it is obvious that the car has had a lot of money spent in other areas, such as new wire wheels, retrim in the luggage area, new Mohair hood and lots of mechanical work.

Please Note: The Heuer timepiece is not included in the sale.

The car is currently Italian registered, We can assist with French registration and Côntrole Technique.
