1971 Mercedes Benz 280SL
1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL with 2 topsIntroducing this 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL with 2 tops, recently brought out of a dry Arizona desert climate. Known as the "Pagoda" due to the distinctive shape of its removable hardtop, the W113-series 280SL remains one of Mercedes-Benz's most recognizable postwar designs. Note, this Mercedes-Benz was originally delivered from the factory in Midnight Blue (904) over a Parchment interior. Highlights:- Factory Color: Midnight Blue- Interior Color: Parchment- Inline-Six Engine- Four-Wheel Disc Brakes- Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection- Convertible Soft Top- Removable Hardtop- Center Console- Chrome Accents- VDO Instrumentation- Becker Europa RadioEquipment includes an inline-six engine, Bosch mechanical fuel injection, four-wheel disc brakes, a convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, chrome trim, chrome bumpers with overriders, steel wheels, Mercedes-Benz hubcaps, and a full-size spare tire in the trunk. The interior features bucket seats with headrests, manual crank windows, a center console, VDO instrumentation, an analog clock, a Becker Europa radio, and a classic two-spoke steering wheel with horn ring. One of the defining features of the W113 is its distinctive concave hardtop, designed by Paul Bracq and Bela Barenyi. The unusual roof shape inspired the "Pagoda" nickname that has stayed with the model ever since. The vehicle is currently not running and is offered as a project, providing an opportunity for its next owner to bring this iconic Mercedes-Benz back to life. For $44,500Contactar al vendedor
