Under the hood is Rolls-Royce's familiar 6.75-liter V8 paired with an automatic transmission, while Bosch fuel injection provides the engine's fuel delivery.Additional equipment includes Jaeger instruments, dual exhaust outlets, chrome bumpers and trim, the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, quad rectangular headlights, Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, 15-inch steel wheels with Rolls-Royce-branded hubcaps, and lambswool over-rugs. Inside, it features bucket seats with head restraints, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, a center console, glove box, and Jensen radio. The Silver Spirit was also notable for introducing a more modern platform and design direction for Rolls-Royce, setting the visual template for the company's full-size saloons for much of the following two decades. With its traditional Rolls-Royce presentation, V8 power, and comfortable long-distance character, this Silver Spirit offers an interesting opportunity to own a classic Rolls-Royce at an accessible price point.
