*Not Just Any DS: The Final and Most Refined Chapter*
This is not simply a Citroën DS. This is one of the final and most developed versions of the model: a DS23 Pallas Injection Electronique, presented in a configuration that combines comfort, technology, and late-production refinement.

Let’s start with the essentials. This example has recently been reconditioned and serviced, is presented in Bleu Delta with a black leather interior, and comes from a long-term private collection where it was kept as part of a static display. Today, it presents as a neat and well-maintained car, ready to be used and enjoyed.

To understand this car, you need to look at the evolution of the DS itself. Introduced in 1955, the DS remained in production for two decades, continuously improved along the way. By the early 1970s, Citroën had refined the concept to a point where performance, comfort, and road holding were brought together in a very balanced way.

This DS23 represents that final stage. Equipped with the 2.3-litre engine and Bosch electronic fuel injection, it delivers a level of performance that allows the chassis to be used as intended. Smooth, stable, and composed over long distances, without losing the characteristic driving feel that defines the DS.

And then there is the Pallas specification. Introduced as the more luxurious version, it added a wide range of refinements. Improved sound insulation, more elaborate interior finishes, additional exterior detailing, all subtle, but noticeable once you spend time with the car. The result is a DS that feels more complete, without changing its original concept.

What makes this particular example appealing is the combination of specification and usability. It has not been over-restored or altered beyond recognition. Instead, it has been refreshed where needed, maintained properly, and kept in a condition that allows for regular use.

Behind the wheel, everything feels light and intuitive. The suspension does what it is known for, the steering remains precise, and the overall experience is one that encourages you to keep driving.

So what are you looking at here? A late-production DS23 Pallas with electronic injection, finished in a well-chosen color combination, recently serviced, and coming from long-term private ownership.

If this is the type of car you appreciate, we would be pleased to provide you with more information. Gallery Aaldering ships worldwide, please inquire about the possibilities.
