The Porsche 911R is a legendary sports car first introduced in 1967. The model was developed as a lighter, more powerful variant of the iconic Porsche 911. With a 2.0-litre six-cylinder engine derived from racing cars, the 911R produced 210 hp, mated to a manual transmission. Only 20 examples were originally built to meet race homologation requirements.
The 911R became famous for its pure driving experience, excellent agility and minimalist design. Over the years, it earned its place as one of the most sought-after collectibles for Porsche enthusiasts due to its rarity and historical value. In more recent times, as a tribute to its heritage, Porsche re-released the 911R in limited numbers, combining modern technologies and performance with a touch of nostalgia.

A very uniquely built Porsche. That is how car offered by us may be seen. This is a recreation of the legendary Porsche 911R. Originally, this car was a 912. It was imported from the United States and imported to England. This is where the full restoration took place. Since 2012, it has been registered on Dutch plates. It is currently owned by a Dutch Porsche collector, R Gruppe member and former editor of the Porsche RS magazine. The car is finished in a beautiful "Light Ivory" paintwork. It is estimated to have had over 1,000 hours of labour and €100,000 invested in it. The Porsche features a rebuilt & tuned 2.0-litre 6-cylinder boxer engine with aluminium body. The engine produces around 215hp. This is an impressive figure, especially against the low weight of just 970 kilograms.

The engine is fitted with 2 Weber 40 IDA carburettors along with 2 K&N filters. The flywheel has been replaced for a lightweight flywheel and the clutch is an AP Competition clutch. The 911 gearbox is aluminium and has 5 short gears, reinforced side plates & Teddy Bear bearings. The Porsche also features a hydraulic handbrake. The doors, front and tailgate are made of polyester, and the rear and side windows are made of lexan. Inside the car, you are surrounded by a fully FIA-certified & through-welded roll cage. You sit safely and sportily in the OMP racing bucket seats with 5-point belts, with a Momo racing steering wheel attached. At the bottom of the car there are 15-inch Competition Racing M2 rims. Alongside these are other interesting parts & components such as;

- Bilstein shock absorbers
- 911S ATE front brakes
- Turbo track rod ends
- 50% ZF limited slip differential
- Bremax wiring harness
- Brantz Tripmaster
- 4 Cibie headlights
- Oil pressure & oil temperature gauge

Also in its 912 days, has always participated very actively in various races & rallies. It was mainly used as a slalom and SCCA sprint car. Alongside this, it has also been involved in various historic rally events. In 1988, there was a historic rally from Key Largo to Jacksonville. Here he finished 14th out of 58 participants. Also in 88', was the Dupont registry/PCA club slalom competition, where he finished first. In 1991, there was the Road Atlanta Race for a Cure with S.E. Regional American Cancer Society fundraiser, which received more than $7,800 in pledges and in which the 912 finished in the top five of most donated dollars. These are just a few of the countless races the Porsche has seen. These were mostly non-profit and fundraising events.

In terms of documentation, various invoices, historical papers, technical documentation, inspections, registration papers and manuals are present. This comes along with a folder of photos of the restoration.
