Descrizione

The Porsche 928 GTS represents the final and most refined chapter in one of the brand’s most forward-thinking model lines. Designed to be both a powerful and comfortable grand tourer, the 928 was a bold departure for Porsche, and the GTS stood as its ultimate evolution. This 1993 example, finished in Polar Silver with a full black interior, has only 66,000 kilometers on the clock and is a remarkably fresh and original representation of this now rare model.

*Only 2,904 Units Built*
This car is one of just 2,904 GTS models ever produced and comes with an especially appealing configuration. It is equipped with comfort seats, Cup 1 wheels, and an electric sunroof. The paintwork is in excellent condition with only minor signs of use, while the interior—including seats, steering wheel, and upholstery—presents beautifully. The amber turn signals, clear lenses, and clean dashboard all point to the car’s original and unrestored condition.

*Maintained by Porsche Dealers and Specialists*
Mechanically, this car is equally impressive. It comes with a binder full of documentation, including the original owner’s manual and detailed invoices from the past eight years, all from official Porsche dealers and marque specialists. The V8 engine runs smoothly and the automatic transmission shifts with precision, just as you would expect from a Porsche with such low mileage.

The story of the Porsche 928 is compelling in its own right. In the late 1970s, Porsche was facing declining sales of the 911 and began developing a new model tailored for the American market, which demanded more comfort and luxury. The result was the 928, a front-engined V8 with a transaxle layout and futuristic styling, complete with iconic pop-up headlights. Technically advanced, it was a masterpiece of engineering, though it remained in the shadow of the emotionally charged 911 for many years.

Today, that perception has shifted. Collectors and enthusiasts are increasingly recognizing the 928 as a uniquely sophisticated and often overlooked classic. The rare GTS models in particular—especially those in original condition with low mileage—are highly sought after, and rightfully so.
