The success number from Italy is without a doubt the Fiat 500. As little weight as possible, sober equipment so as not to get in the way of the previously released more luxurious 600 and easy to maintain, even by the owners themselves. A car for the Italian people, cheap and able to traverse the narrowest streets in the cities. But it does have a rear seat.
More than 3.5 million copies of the '500' have been sold. The steel that was used as little as possible, however, had the property of being quite susceptible to rust, just like many other cars from that time. Fortunately, the Fiat 500 offered by us has been well tectylated since its 1974 delivery. As an enthusiast, you are looking for an original 500 as if it were a true time machine in the most original condition possible. Step into our Fiat 500, it not only looks like it was 1974, it smells and feels like it too. Back to the future! Of course, nothing beats the original. In the original 'Rosso Corallo' colour, with the folding roof and the black leatherette upholstery.
Beautiful examples, like this car, fully functional and without rust, are rare these days.
The paintwork and bodywork are in neat condition. The fits of the sills, fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid and grille are neat.
Last year the car came from its 1st owner! from Belgium to the Netherlands. The 500 has a classic Dutch registration in 'old blue' and is ready for use.
Fitted with 4 new Michelin tires for safety reasons. The original tires were dried out.
