The Ferrari 575 Superamerica is a rare and technically remarkable variant of the 575M Maranello, widely regarded as one of the most elegant open grand tourers of its era. Built in limited numbers, this particular example, delivered new in Germany in 2006, ranks among the best-preserved and most comprehensively equipped.

The most striking feature is undoubtedly its innovative “Revocromico” roof: an electrochromic glass panel that can be continuously adjusted in brightness and, within 60 seconds, folds back completely. In doing so, the rear window serves as a wind deflector. The Superamerica was the world’s first production car to feature this groundbreaking system, a piece of forward-thinking engineering that still feels ahead of its time. With the roof closed, the car retains the sleek lines of a coupé, yet when open, it offers the full experience of a convertible.

Beneath the surface, this Ferrari is even more impressive. It was delivered from the factory with the highly sought-after HGTC package (Handling Gran Turismo Competizione). This includes stiffer suspension for sharper cornering, powerful Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a sport-tuned titanium exhaust, a reprogrammed ECU for quicker gear shifts, and distinctive 19-inch alloy wheels. The result is a driving dynamic that borders on race car performance, while still delivering the long-distance comfort expected from a true GT.

The color scheme is a timeless classic: Nero over a Crema interior, featuring Daytona-style seats. Both the exterior and interior are in exceptional condition, clearly showing that this Ferrari has been cherished. Mechanically, everything is equally sound, just as you would expect from a car of this caliber and with such mileage. The full maintenance history is documented and was carried out exclusively by authorized Ferrari dealers and marque specialists, strictly following factory guidelines.

Of particular note is the presence of the official Ferrari Classiche “Red Book” certification, which verifies the car’s authenticity and originality. Also included are the complete owner’s portfolio, manuals, and tool kit—exactly as it should be with a proper Ferrari.

The 575 Superamerica delivers the best of both worlds: the performance of a full-blooded V12 Ferrari combined with the open-air thrill of a convertible, all wrapped in an enduringly elegant design. Thanks to its rarity, technical sophistication, and unique roof system, it is not just a collector’s item, but a Ferrari that begs to be driven. A truly rare opportunity for the discerning enthusiast.
