One of Only 14 Examples Ever Built
This left-hand-drive DB4 is one of only fourteen examples ever produced in this configuration—a true rarity, even within the exclusive world of classic Aston Martins. Originally delivered new in Switzerland, this particular car has had only three owners from new, a testament to its exceptional provenance and preservation.
Restored by Bodylines LTD/Spray Tec LTD/ RS Williams LTD
Later in its life, this Aston Martin underwent a complete restoration by Spray-Tec Restorations in the United Kingdom—widely regarded as the world’s leading authority on classic Aston Martin restoration.
The restoration was carried out with an almost obsessive commitment to authenticity and perfection. The body was completely stripped down to bare metal and meticulously rebuilt, retaining all the correct original details. Remarkably, the car’s body proved to be in outstandingly sound condition, showing virtually no corrosion—a rarity in itself for a DB4 of this vintage. The original engine, transmission, and drivetrain were fully overhauled using factory-correct specifications and components throughout.
The result is a car that embodies the very essence of Aston Martin: understated power, refined elegance, and pure mechanical beauty. Specified in Vantage trim, this example represents the most powerful version of the DB4 series, second only to the legendary DB4 GT. Its 3.7-liter inline-six delivers its power with smooth sophistication, complemented by a responsive chassis and exceptional balance. In short, the driving experience remains, even today, what enthusiasts describe as “delicate yet deeply engaging.”
Original Interior
The interior tells a different story—that of authenticity and character. Whereas many restorations aim to renew, this one sought to preserve. The original cabin was kept largely intact, retaining its patina, leather, and unmistakable sense of originality.
