Descrizione

The Heynsdyk 2500 SF Roadster is a true legend in Dutch automotive history. Although the marque produced only a handful of cars between 2010 and 2012, this particular example, dating from 1991, represents the absolute pinnacle of its achievements. It is, in fact, the only Heynsdyk Roadster in the world built around the formidable 3.0-liter Porsche 944 S2 powertrain.

What began as a father-and-son project soon evolved into an uncompromising pursuit of perfection. No expense was spared, and the philosophy was as simple as it was ambitious: quality only. As a result, this Heynsdyk remains in exceptional condition and, thanks to its unique appearance, has been featured extensively in leading automotive magazines.

The transformation this Porsche underwent is nothing short of spectacular. The car was completely dismantled before the chassis was extensively reinforced to achieve an extraordinary level of torsional rigidity. The body is the company's further-developed second-generation body kit, reinforced with carbon fiber and Kevlar for additional strength while reducing weight.

Finished in the deep shade of Vulcano Red, this Heynsdyk has a strikingly sporting appearance. One particularly wonderful detail that creates a tangible link to Stuttgart's rich heritage is the windshield, sourced from an iconic Porsche 356. The car rides on beautiful ATS alloy wheels fitted with high-performance Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.

Beneath the hood lies Porsche's renowned 3.0-liter inline-four from the 944 S2. Thanks to a programmable ECU, a bespoke intake and exhaust system, and larger fuel injectors, this engine now produces approximately 250 horsepower according to the accompanying documentation. Combined with a lightweight flywheel, the engine responds eagerly to every throttle input.

Two selectable engine maps—Tour and Fast Street—allow you to tailor the engine's character to your preferences. Gear changes are handled by a precise five-speed manual transmission, while a limited-slip differential ensures the power is transferred flawlessly to the road. Add to that a premium Intrax adjustable coil-over suspension, adjustable brake bias, ventilated brake discs, and Greenstuff brake pads, and it becomes immediately clear that this is a driver's car of the highest caliber. Weighing just 1,113 kilograms (2,454 lbs), the driving experience is pure, unfiltered, and utterly exhilarating.

The interior is minimalist and entirely focused on the essence of driving. You settle into the sport seats, grip the thick Momo steering wheel, and look out over the classic analog gauges. For added convenience on longer journeys, a discreet TomTom navigation display has been neatly integrated into the dashboard. Quite simply, you need nothing more.
