Exterior: This particular BMW 3.0 CSi is presented in its original Chamonix White (085) exterior, complemented by a dark blue cloth interior. The E9 series is known for its expansive glass surfaces, making the interior color as visually significant as the exterior. The harmonious combination of white and blue in this model is truly striking. The car has undergone a comprehensive restoration to original specifications, with nearly every component either replaced or refurbished to like-new condition. The underside of the car is equally impressive, featuring a light grey undercoating that replicates the original finish, providing protection from road debris and stone chips. Extra Locari alu inner fenders with the same stone chip protection as the BMW original. This reduce the noice level and saves your front fenders. 

Interior: While many BMW E9 models have been retrofitted with leather interiors over the years, this vehicle retains its original blue velour upholstery, which offers a period-correct and visually appealing aesthetic. The large glass areas of the BMW Coupe allow the interior's beauty to be admired even from the outside. The minimalist yet warm and elegant design evokes the feel of 1970s Danish furniture, creating a luxurious yet comfortable cabin environment. The interior also features a new blue loop-style carpet, consistent with the materials BMW and Mercedes used during this era. Notably, this CSi is equipped with the original BMW Bavaria radio, which is still functional, and the VDO instruments are in perfect working order. The vehicle also includes proper seat belts in the rear, making it suitable for family use. This car has a BMW aircondition that has recently been fitted to the car. Fully serviced and ice cold. The cost of installation and AC unit was in the region of €5000. 

Mechanics: The driving experience in this car is truly remarkable. It feels as if you’ve stepped back into 1972, just having picked up your brand-new BMW from the dealership. The engine’s response and sound are exceptional, shifting through the gears is seamless, and your fingers rest comfortably on the thin, smooth leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The engine has been completely rebuilt, including the head, and is paired with a refurbished gearbox and a new clutch. The car runs like new!

History: Sold new in 1972, this BMW 3.0 CSi likely originated from Germany, as indicated by the German-language owner’s manual. The car was imported to Sweden in 1977, where it remained in use until 1984, at which point it was taken off the road. Over the past four years, it has undergone an extensive restoration, including:

• Complete bodywork, chrome refinishing, and a repaint in original factory specifications.
• Full rebuild of the engine, gearbox, and final drive.
• Overhaul of the brake system, suspension bushings, joints, wheels, and tires.
• Complete interior restoration with new upholstery, carpets, headliner, and sound insulation.
• Electrical system and instrument refurbishment.
• Recent technical inspection in Sweden (2024-09-04) with no noted issues.
• Full documentation of the restoration process, including photographs and invoices.
