Descrizione

The Ferrari 328 GTS is one of those rare models that combines ease of driving with the essence of the Ferrari experience. It strikes a perfect balance between performance and pure mechanical engagement, all wrapped in a timelessly elegant package. This particular example from 1987 is exceptionally well-preserved: delivered new in Europe, fully documented, driven just 57,000 kilometers, and finished in the rare and refined color combination of Nero over Nero. Understated, sophisticated, and worlds apart from the more common Rosso Corsa, it is a joy to behold.

The bodywork is in beautiful condition, showing only minor signs of use. The original wheels are clean and undamaged, the bumpers are free of scuffs, and the paint retains a deep, even shine. Inside, the car has aged remarkably well. The original black leather upholstery shows minimal wear, the steering wheel remains crisp, and the dashboard is entirely original — a rare find in a car of this age. The original leather pouch, complete with owner’s manual and service booklet, is also included.

The 328 GTS is widely regarded as one of the most reliable classic Ferraris, thanks in part to its straightforward, proven engineering. What sets this car apart is its fully documented maintenance history, detailing the care and attention it has received throughout its life. The 3.2-liter V8 produces around 274 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox with the signature dogleg layout. Weighing just 1,325 kilograms, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds — figures that still impress today.

As the refined successor to the 308, the 328 retained much of what made its predecessor great. It features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection paired with Marelli electronic ignition for reliable, responsive power delivery. The driving experience is raw and unfiltered — no power steering, no electronic aids, no compromises. Exactly what a true enthusiast looks for in a classic sports car.

Of the 7,412 units built, 6,068 were GTS (Targa) models. The open-top design adds another layer to the driving experience, especially with the unmistakable growl of the V8 right behind your ears.

A Ferrari 328 GTS in this condition, with this mileage, color combination, and history, is becoming increasingly rare. It’s a car that turns heads in the garage but truly comes alive on the open road. For the collector seeking a well-preserved, honest, and original classic from Maranello, this is an exceptional opportunity.
